Biennial i-Boot Camp:

Every two years an i-Boot Camp is held in the cities of one of the African YALDA branches. Youth from all over Africa and abroad converge to discuss issues on how to overcome challenges to youth leadership and Africa’s development problems. At the i-Boot Camp delegates receive real-time feedback on their ideas from our high profile speakers who are experts in their fields. The last i-Boot Camp was held in Morocco in 2018 with a focus on how youth can leverage Africa going digital to bridge physical regional integration. Check out the video highlights here. Next i-Boot Camp focusing on how youth can leverage the instruments of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) will be held in South Africa 2020. Check out the link to join us for the Biennial i-Boot Camp 2020 coming soon!

Intercollegiate Model African Union Summit (IMAUS):

Every year the Inter-Collegiate Model African Union Summit is hosted by a YALDA branch, preferably between the months of January and June. The IMAUS engages YALDA members to actively participate in learning and researching more about African countries, other than their own, and structures of the African Union through the various media available to them in their communities.
