Tubasanyukidde!!!
Welcome!!!
We are greatly humbled to welcome the rest of the world to this Great continent of Africa and to the Pearl of Africa “Uganda”, the Youth Alliance for leadership and Development in Africa (YALDA) is pleased to welcome you all once again to the YALDA Biennial conference to be held in Uganda, Kampala, at Makerere University from September 25th-28th, 2008 under a strategic theme: "Overcoming Obstacles on the Continent and Beyond.”
The story of Africa leads all. It is a story of ideals that know no boundaries. It is a story of civilizations and people who set out from distant shores; pioneers who persevered; and people of all races, religions, and ethnic groups and we want to put aside all doubts to seek a new frontier.
The conference will consist of four major parts: leadership training workshops; informative panel sessions; skill-practice workshops and organized visits to sites of youth-led development projects and historical sites in Kampala. The panels and workshops will be facilitated by prominent professionals, youth leaders and organizations from a myriad of fields. For the full conference schedule click here. Please note that our agenda will continue to updated, so check back regularly.
Please register now because space is limited!
We look forward to you joining us in Kampala!
